Antica struttura in pietra costruita intorno al 945 A.D., la Torre di Ponzano si trova a metà strada tra Firenze e Siena, inserita in un tranquillo borgo rurale, in posizione dominante e con uno splendido panorama sulle colline del Chianti.
Tale localizzazione ne fa una base ideale per visitare, non solo Firenze, Siena e San Gimignano (che sono a soli 30 minuti di auto) ma molti altri centri importanti come Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, Montalcino, Montepulciano e Pienza che sono a poco più di un'ora d'auto.
Recentemente ristrutturata nel rispetto della tradizione toscana, la casa offre tutte le moderne comodità, le camere hanno bagno privato, TV satellitare, frigo, bollitore per tè, moka elettrica per l'espresso, piccola cassaforte e sistema di riscaldamento centrale con termostato in ogni camera.
Aria Condizionata a richesta in tutte le camere.
Le Triple e Deluxe Doppie sono fornite con forno micronde per riscaldare il cibo, ma non ce la possibilità di cucinare in camera.
La colazione e self catering in camera, (tè, polvere caffè espresso e liofilizato, latte, biscotti, zucchero, acqua minerale ecc. fornito e incluso nel prezzo della camera).

Built around 945 A.D. the Torre of Ponzano is a country house situated halfway between Florence and Siena in an unspoilt medieval hamlet on top of a hill in the Chianti countryside. It enjoys spectacular views accross the vinyards, olive groves and fields that have put Tuscany among the most beautiful places in the world.
The country house has been restructured like a hotel, with all the modern comforts that one expects All rooms have en-suite bathroom,tv, satellite decoder, fridge, safe, coffee making equipment The old world charm has been carefully maintained, which gives the special touch to your holiday in this beautiful region.
The breakfast is self catering in the room or can be taken in the garden, each room is provided with tea bags, coffee powder, sugar, milk, mineral water, biscuits, espresso coffee maker etc. included in the price of the room
All the rooms have Air Conditioners on request.
Deluxe doubles and triples also have a microwave for heating food, but no cooking facilities.
There is a Swimming pool with a fabulous view .
Torre di Ponzano is very easily reachable and centrally located which makes it a perfect base to visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano,and the Chianti countryside all reachable by car in less than half-an-hour. Arezzo, Pisa, Lucca, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Pienza and the seaside are just over an hour away. Garden tables, chairs and Sunbeds are provided free of charge, there is ample free parking. There are exellent typical restaurants only a few minutes away by car. Supermarkets are about ten minutes away by car.
Advance bookings are accepted and a deposit or credit card (Visa/Mastercard/CartaSi) with number and expiration date is required via fax no. +0039 055 8059255 as a guarantee of arrival. In case of non arrival or late cancellation (i.e. after the last date of cancellation without penalty) a charge of one third total cost of stay, min. one night is made to this card.
